REFUNDS: No refunds can be given for unused services, for unused transportation, or for voluntary modifications made by the traveler.
HOLIDAYS:alternatives will be offered if unexpected holiday activities of a local in Scotland nature affect the planned activities.
SAFETY:Things and situations may arise over which SCOT has no control. SCOT will not have liability regarding provision of medical help or the adequacy of any care that may be rendered. SCOT will use its best efforts to ensure that adequate measures are taken.
RESPONSIBILITY OF SCOT, LTD.: a non profit approved charitable incorporated organization for the purpose of sending missionaries overseas is reasonably responsible for the arrangements on land in Scotland. The suppliers to SCOT are independent contractors and in no way are employees or agents of SCOT. If contractors do not complete their obligations to SCOT, it will try its best to arrange comparable services. Any resulting expenses must be the additional responsibility of the individual short term missionary. SCOT has the right to reject a participant if it deems necessary.
SCOT also hasthe right to change any aspect of the itinerary when it becomes evident that the change would be for the betterment of the travelers participating as missionaries.
Neither SCOTnor any of its associates in any case can be liable for other than compensatory damages, and you hereby waive any right to punitive damages.
ADDENDUM:Every effort to provide the missionary with the fairest service for money received from the participant has been uppermost in the responsible planners hearts and minds.
